ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

We are recruiting for a Principal UI/UX Designer to join our team. In this newly created position you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering elevated, innovative digital user experiences. Utilizing Human-Centered Design, Outcome Driven Innovation (ODI), Agile and other processes, you will provide UX leadership and execution on Inspire's product(s) in close collaboration with product development and marketing. You are a proven UX/UI leader with a passion for creating outstanding design solutions and proven experience translating customer needs to user experience designs, information architectures, wireframes/prototypes, and fully realized products.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

Conceptualize, design, and iterate mobile and web application designs and experiences that meet and exceed customer's expectations Prepare design mockups and interactive UX prototypes to facilitate exploratory research and usability testing Interact directly with customers through human-centered design techniques including participation in observational, primary or contextual research, interviews, and concept testing to uncover needs, learn about user behavior and explore design concepts Create and refine designs for products and services focused on user interfaces and user experience Collaborate with cross functional leaders and provide thought leadership / advocacy for the end user during the entire design process Consider technology, platforms, and architecture while applying human-centered techniques in design approaches Engage in generative design research and the translation of user/customer needs into design concepts Facilitate working sessions, brainstorming, design reviews and collaborative design meetings with key stakeholders Ensure usability standards are integrated into product development / design process in a thoughtful and customer focused approach. Participate in developing a next generation common design language and design system, and maintenance of that system

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of similar experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years of similar experience Expert in Figma, Miro, Adobe Suite, Sketch Familiarity in full range of human-centered research and design techniques, including research methods, personas, journey maps, site mapping, user flows, card sorting, tree studies, interaction design using wireframes, prototyping (low- and high-fidelity) and usability testing. Experience participating in Agile (or other iterative methodologies) development teams as the individual who is accountable for the user interface design Demonstrated experience designing consumer-level mobile and web applications Medical user experience / medical device experience and/or healthcare experience Mobile design experience including knowledge of iOS screen controls, application flow and design best practices The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
