Job Description

Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with 200+ attorneys in nine offices, is seeking a Proposal & Content Writer to join our busy Marketing & Business Development team. In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate with attorneys, firm management, marketing team, pricing personnel, and other firm personnel to evaluate, plan, develop, and draft RFP responses, proposals, pitches, presentations, and other marketing content.
• Write, edit, and maintain effective and consistent materials for use in the firm's business development initiatives, including proposals, pitches, collateral, web content, and more.
• Create proposal and pitch documents to differentiate the firm: identifying the most applicable content, editing existing content, and drafting new content as needed.

To succeed, you will need excellent communication and writing skills and extraordinary attention to detail. A bachelor's degree in marketing preferred, with five years of hands-on experience in writing and managing proposals, pitch processes, and other written content within a law firm environment.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Albany, Buffalo or Rochester is $58,000 to $71,200. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
